RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas (CBS12) —
Border agents in Texas seized more than $1 million worth of marijuana.
The US Customs and Border Protection said agents saw an SUV speeding through a popular area for narcotics and human smuggling. The driver crashed into a pole and ran off.
Agents found the SUV loaded with bundles of marijuana. It all weighed about 1,300 pounds. The marijuana is now in the custody of the Drug Enforcement Agency.
