BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A federal narcotics investigation lead authorities to a home in Cedar Creek with hundreds of pounds of marijuana inside.
The Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office says the discovery was made on Tuesday at a home on Jeffrey Drive. Members of the Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force, which includes one Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office deputy, were conducting the investigation at the home when the suspect, Francisco Javier Lopez, fled the scene
While Lopez was able to escape capture, an arrest warrant has been issued for Lopez for the charge of Possession of Marijuana greater than 50 pounds but less than 2,000 pounds, which is a Second Degree Felony.
