Men charged in brazen daytime robbery of Ann Arbor marijuana dispensary sentenced to prison –

ANN ARBOR, MI – All three men accused of robbing an Ann Arbor medical marijuana dispensary at gunpoint in the middle of the day, firing several gunshots outside the establishment, have now been sentenced to prison.

Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Patrick Conlin Jr. sentenced David Adams, 34, and Devaughn Morgan, 30, to prison Monday, Oct. 4, for their roles in the armed robbery, court records show.

Adams was sentenced to serve two to 15 years in prison as part of a sentencing agreement for him pleading no contest to one count of armed robbery.

Morgan, who also had a sentencing agreement after pleading guilty, was sentenced to serve seven to 20 years in prison. His sentence is set to run consecutively to a prior sentence as he was on parole at the time of the robbery.

The third man, Alfonzia Sproles, 34, was the first to accept a plea offer, pleading no contest to one count of armed robbery on June 28.

He was sentenced Aug. 16 to five to 20 years in prison to be served consecutive with his previous sentence which he was also on parole for at the time of the robbery, court records show.
