“For a city of 2,400 people to be able to do a few things with new sidewalks and some different infrastructure and some stuff like that that we can’t get the money from normal taxes or from the state,” Nichols said. “It’s going to be a large benefit to us and for the people here in town,”

Meanwhile, Thrive Dispensary said it’s so excited for this upgrade.

“You’re going to see a lot more displays and products visually,” Amber Mosley, Regional Retail Director said. “It’s a lot more open, open space, a lot more room to move around. You’re going to see a few more experts on the floor because we had such a small area, we didn’t have too much room for that.”

Thrive operates five dispensaries across Illinois.
