Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – The Elmwood Village is getting its first legal cannabis dispensary. The Buffalo Common Council approved Canterra for its first brick and mortar location at 451 Elmwood. Canterra has been operating since August as a cannabis e-commerce and delivery platform for customers all over Western New York and Monroe County. The company plans to have its first storefront up and running by late fall.
Colvin Cleaners’ 16th annual Gowns for Prom distribution event begins Tuesday afternoon at 3 at the Buffalo Convention Center. High school students will be able to select a free gown through Thursday at 7.
A new beach resort is getting closer to an open date in Silver Creek, per Buffalo Business First. Hideaway Bay Resort will be set on the shores of Lake Erie at 42 Lake Avenue. The $2 million project is expected to open in mid-June.
